Learning Compass Chicago takes a whole-learner approach to academic support. We look beyond the assignment or skill that's causing difficulty to understand how a student learns, where barriers may be occurring, and what strategies can help them become more confident and independent learners.
Our Approach
Each specialist, working alongside a collaborative team.
Students are thoughtfully matched with an educational specialist based on their strengths, needs, and goals. That relationship stays personal, while the specialist has a multidisciplinary team available for consultation, problem-solving, and additional expertise when needed.
Progress made visible
After approximately 6–8 weeks of services, families receive progress-monitoring data that provides a clear picture of progress toward identified goals and helps guide instruction.
